Dear Fellow Travelers,

Thanks so much for your interest in Blues Traveler!! The list of E-Travelers is getting longer each day and I'm so excited by everyone's support. My name is Brigitte, and I'll be in touch with everyone on a regular basis to let you know what's going on with Blues Traveler and what info we need to get out there. I'll be in contact with the band, management and the label so I'll be passing all info on to you so you'll always know the latest BT news.

With "Bridge" coming soon, the first single, "Girl Inside My Head" already on the radio, and a Spring Tour ready to go, there is much to do to get people up to speed on Blues Traveler. Where to begin?

START POSTING

Since BT has been enjoying some downtime for a while, we want everyone to know that the band is up and running again. It's time for us to start the buzz that Blues Traveler is back with a new album, and tour. Do this by circulating all the current info on message boards, chat rooms, emails, etc. Go to BT fansites, related band sites, related life-style sites, (i.e. rollingstone.com, imusic.com, jambands.com, etc) anywhere that you think people would be interested. The most critical info to get in there is:

-the name of the new album, "Bridge"
-the release date 5/8/01
-the single, "Girl Inside My Head"
-spring tour dates
-the website address: www.bluestraveler.com

Let me know how it's going. Email me the links to where you are posting the info and if you are getting feedback. There is also a program called Capture Express that will let you take screen shots of what you've done. The program is free and you can download it at www.captureexpress.com. Click on the EXE format and you will be ready to go. For those of you with MACs (newer versions) all you have to do is hit command-shift-4. For the earlier models hit command-shift-3. The picture will automatically be saved on your hard drive as "Picture 1."

After making postings - screen shot them, copy to clipboard, create an ongoing word document to paste the screen shots in and email me from time to time with your progress.

I will be setting up a contest so that the people who are reaching the most people will be rewarded. I will able to reward E-Travelers with things like free tickets, passes to watch sound check, BT merch, etc. I will have more details about this very soon.
